Having worked in the Maroochydore CBD for almost 30 years, I am well-placed to be aware of the issues that require attention.

Peppi would like to continue the positive work the Chamber has undertaken over the past few years through my networks and skillset.

Peppi has over 20 years experience as a communications and marketing professional working on projects ranging from large master planned communities and infrastructure projects through to SMEs and not for profit groups.

Peppi moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2001 working for Lensworth on the Kawana Waters master plan development as the communications and marketing manager. In November 2011 Peppi became the Director of Queensland Advertising and Public Relations servicing a broad range of property development clients

Lauren Smith is the Co-Founder and Business Director of Smith Madden Creative Agency.

Prior to co-founding Smith Madden Creative Agency, Lauren built a comprehensive career working in Senior Marketing and Business Director positions with leading fashion, beauty, lifestyle, hospitality and travel brands. Having moved from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast in 2020, Lauren’s notable brand portfolio stems from a decade of work with communications agencies, in-house for Accor hotels, and clients from her own successful marketing + PR company which she ran for four years.

Business-driven with a strategic mindset, Lauren has developed and led multiple campaigns; from managing national luxury Accor campaigns, to representing clients in Australian and New York Fashion Weeks. Lauren loves to collaborate with clients and develop strategies that tactfully positions a brand in its market, engages with its audience, and converts interest into sales.

I began my career in 2000 working for a local firm in Nambour where I was able to hone my skills in the profession and in building client relationships. I am extremely proud to say that many of the clients I worked with in my early career are still clients to this day. I went into practice as a director of a firm in Maroochydore in 2009 where I remained until I formed InDepth Business Advisory & Taxation in April 2018. InDepth was created as I wanted to focus on the delivery of personalised business advisory and compliance services at a high standard to business in the Sunshine Coast community. Outside of the office, I enjoy travelling and spending time with my husband and our two children outdoors camping, boating and walking our dog Snickers.
