We've worked hard to strengthen the chamber's financial position over the last couple of years. Scott would like to finish the job and believes he can help do that as the Treasurer.
Scott joined the Chamber’s Executive Committee in 2017. He has 25 years of IT/Accounting and Management experience, along with board-level experience with various businesses and not-for-profit organisations. He is passionate about helping small businesses improve their efficiency, sustainability and profitability.
Scott lives for the day when more Sunshine Coast micro and small businesses are thriving in the global marketplace.
Peppi would like to continue the positive work the Chamber has undertaken over the past few years through my networks and skillset.
Peppi has over 20 years experience as a communications and marketing professional working on projects ranging from large master planned communities and infrastructure projects through to SMEs and not for profit groups.
Peppi moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2001 working for Lensworth on the Kawana Waters master plan development as the communications and marketing manager. In November 2011 Peppi became the Director of Queensland Advertising and Public Relations servicing a broad range of property development clients
Over the past 5 years Scott has been the brains behind some notable Hospitality brands such as Junk Restaurant, Hello Harry and Donut Boyz. Recently Scott was integral in forming the Ocean Street Precinct Association who co-ordinates the popular Ocean Street Entertainment Precinct which he holds the position of President. In additional to this, Scott is a member of the board at Major Events which advised Sunshine Coast Council on their Major Event Sponsorship along with being the Maroochydore region’s representative on the Regional Sub-Committee for Visit Sunshine Coast
Mathew is the General Manager at Volunteering Sunshine Coast, where we place 3,000 volunteers into 145 plus member organisations. We run two benevolent programs where we assist job seekers to find better pathways to employment and we are the lead organisation for the recruitment of disaster volunteers on the Sunshine Coast.
Fran has a comprehensive financial services background across consulting, sales and service roles with the result being strong communication skills and a genuine interest in helping professional contractors, recruiters and corporate clients improve how they operate and enhance procedures and achievements.
Paul is stepping up again from being on the committee in 2019.
Paul is the Executive Manager of McBerns Pty.Ltd. This is a business that has served the Sunshine Coast region, the wider business community and abroad for the last 28 years in the Sewer and Water space. His experience extends across hands on Electrical Maintenance, Technical support, Project Management of Application Engineering in Industrial Automation, Management of Sales and Engineering staff, conducted and developed Training programs.
Allan sees supporting the Maroochydore Chamber as a community service. He is the director of AMS Property a local Independent Commercial Management and Facilities company that looks after property on the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. With over 20 years in the Real Estate and Retail Industries, he has learnt to face issues head-on and deal with them quickly and effectively. His firm is built on his professional values and with meticulous attention to detail. Allan moved to the Coast three years ago to start his business and with his wife lives in Buderim and is proud to call the Sunshine Coast his home.
William is part of the family owned and operated, Thompson Insurance, which has been actively helping businesses with insurance and risk management since 2005.
Being recently appointed an Executive Committee Member of the MCC, William wants to help the committee extend their network through a fresh and young approach. He is very passionate about the Sunshine Coast, Maroochydore specifically and wants this area (and group) to flourish, continue to grow and assist all businesses in our region.
Simon has recently moved back to the Sunshine Coast and with his role as General Sales Manager at Sea and MIX FM, he sees the Chamber as an important part of our business and a ''Community'' our stations need to play a stronger role in.
I have a media background which started in 1992. I have worked across both Radio and Television in numerous Regional and Metropolitan Markets and have held positions from Account Manager to Station Manager in Television and General Manager in Radio. As you can appreciate, holding such roles I have had numerous responsibilities and had to be able to predict and shift/move as the current economic climate has dictated to stay ahead of my competition.
Louise would love to help organise various events the chamber runs for its members, amplify what the Chamber is already doing through increased Sunshine Coast Daily support. Add value in helping market events to existing members and the benefits of joining the Chamber to non-members.
For the last 12 years I have worked for News Corp/APN Australian Publishing in various marketing positions across multiple departments & locations working my way up from Marketing Coordinator to Marketing Manager for the Sunshine Coast Daily.
