Mindfulness is an evidence-based strategy for improved focus, attention, and mental wellbeing. This presentation offers insights into the neuroscientific benefits of mindfulness, as well as practical strategies for busy people to incorporate mindfulness into their work and lives.
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
> Clearly define mindfulness and distinguish between dispositional mindfulness and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) practices.
> Understand the neuroscience behind mindfulness and identify key brain changes that MBSR practices can offer.
> Identify mindfulness strategies to improve focus, attention, and well-being.
