A promising triathlete in her teenage years\, Alexa's sporting career changed course after a life-threating cycling accident in 2021 left her with a traumatic brain injury. Refusing to let her story end there\, she turned to para swimming\, where here determination and natural talent quickly propelled her onto the international stage.\n\n\n\nAlexa made her Paralympic debut in Paris 2024\, winning gold in the 100m freestyle S9 and silver in the 50m freestyle S9\, instantly becoming one of the breakout stars of the Games.
