DESCRIPTION:The perfect platform to relax in a spot of your choosing while keeping you updated with essential business tools and topics\, our next After Hours is on Thursday\, 28th May and delivered as an open to the public\, free online e-vent.\n\n\n\nHosted by President Brendan Bathersby\, we will also be joined by Paul Martins\, Head of Economic Development with Sunshine Coast Council. We will have a conversation around the approach the Council is taking towards supporting us through COVID-19 and what we should be doing ourselves to prepare for recovery.\n\n\n\nPaul commenced in his role as Head of Economic Development at Sunshine Coast Council in 2014. He is charged with the implementation of the Regional Economic Development Strategy\, the region's Major Events Strategy and Investment Attraction for the Sunshine Coast.\n\nPaul has also enjoyed several roles in the private sector including as CEO of a large manufacturing business with offices across five locations in Australia and as Director of Sales and Marketing for an international manufacturing operation.\n\nPaul is the Qld Chair of the Australia Indonesia Business Council\, supports several Sunshine Coast Industry Boards and Committees and serves on a range of Council Taskforces including the Smart Cities and Innovation Program Process Control Groups among others.
