DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the incredible venues\, locations and experiences of the greater Maroochy region at the launch of our exciting tourism campaign that will blow your mind on just how much there is to do and see\, when you live work and play in the best place in the world.\n\n\n\nSince the beginning of 2021\, the Maroochydore Chamber has been creating\, producing\, and bringing to life\, a collaborative campaign with the talented team at Visit Sunshine Coast.\n\n\n\nNow\, the time has finally come to share this exciting project with you all!\n\n\n\nJoin us as we light up the big screen at the BCC Cinema Maroochydore and share with you this phenomenal project that will put us on the map nationally.\n\n\n\nYou will also hear from Andrew Fairbairn\, Industry Development Manager at Visit Sunshine Coast\, as he provides valuable insight for all business types on:\n\n\n\n- The up-to-date statistics on visitor traffic to the Sunshine Coast\n\n- The initiatives that are coming to life to attract maximum tourism spend\n\n- The background to the subregional campaign that has allowed the Maroochydore Chamber to develop this exciting campaign.\n\n\n\nAndrew Fairbairn recently stated "The Sunshine Coast was successful in developing its intrastate market in response to mitigating the extent of the disruption caused by COVID-19\, according to the latest National Visitor Survey (NVS)\, released by Tourism Research Australia today.\n\n\n\nOur region saw a 39.7% increase in intrastate visitors for the three months\, compared to the same period in 2019. A total of 837\,000 intrastate visitors travelled to the Sunshine Coast in the quarter\, compared to 599\,000 for the corresponding quarter in 2019."\n\n\n\nMembers and Non-Members are all invited to attend this special event.\n\n\n\nBook your ticket now and join us!\n\n\n\n* If restrictions change\, ticket purchasers will receive a refund.\n\n* Please do not attend the event if you have COVID-19 symptoms.
